Here in my home town the local FFA chapter puts on a great cattle show called the Grinnell FFA Cattle Show. Like the Purple Ribbon Run show this was an IJBBA sanctioned cattle show. For an early April show where the facilities are primarily open-air, the weather couldn't have been better. The show consisted of about 135 head in both breeding and market show cattle divisions. I also thought hte show participants were really involved in the showing process as I saw numerous exhibitors fitting their own cattle and learning the "ropes".
